PBIS

Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports, PBIS, is a framework of principles that improve social, emotional and academic outcomes for all students, including students with disabilities and students from underrepresented groups. Our Next Level Student Curriculum was developed as a solution to these numerous epidemic concerns. It also places a focus on the entire character of each student. Each of the lessons is classified into one of four Modules that target the student’s personal development, the family & academic community, and preparation for the future. Studies have resulted in a significant improvement in student discipline, behavior, and grades. The proactive strategies implemented not only promote a positive school climate but are tailored to all students. This is a great resource for PBIS implementation school or district-wide.

CASEL’s Five Core Competencies

The Next Level Student SEL Curriculum is one of the layers of a student’s foundation that is built upon for them to be successful both inside and outside of the classroom. In addition to the family, community, and school partnerships, our curriculum strengthens the SEL, social-emotional learning, which is the process that the educators and students use to manage emotions, goals, responsible decisions, relationships, and empathy towards others. Students are developed overall and become more effective on their journey through life through the implementation of CASEL’s 5 Core competencies, which is a widely used framework for social-emotional learning. The five core competencies are self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision-making. The strategic use of this framework accompanied by our Next Level SEL curriculum will result in increased academic achievement and improved behavior. LEXILES

The Next Level Students curriculum (Grades K-12th) has been measured using the Lexile Framework for Reading. Our company has found immense value in promoting character development resources that were measured using a framework implemented in all 50 states and 180 countries worldwide when promoting College and Career Readiness. Our curriculum writers’ focus was to “stretch” Lexile bands, in a collaborative effort with schools nation-wide, to meet the requirements associated with college entry by the conclusion of high school. Classrooms on average, contain students located on various points within the compass of reading & comprehension abilities. The Lexile measure aligns each one with the appropriate level of complexity. Be prepared to have your students’ character and reading comprehension taken to the Next Level.


Professional Development

The Jeremy Anderson Group, LLC provides professional development that helps to introduce the curriculum and increase school-wide support. (This is upon request.) All Next Level Student curriculums (K-12) have been designed to be implemented with no training needed. We believe that our user-friendly design allows the school administration and/or classroom educator the ability to modify or implement the lessons based on their academic schedules and teaching style.
