Our Next Level Students SEL Curriculum is designed to be user-friendly, customized as a supplement, or an independent lesson. The video below highlights how some schools across the country implement our curriculum in the classroom. We realize that every school’s time constraints are unique, so we were intentional in structuring the lessons to be flexible.

Our Approach focuses on the WHOLE CHILD

The purpose of the Next Level Students curriculum is to support the whole child by building skills that afford students to become the best versions of themselves. Our 28 Middle School lessons are divided into four critical areas, Self, Family, School, and Future. This ensures that students will be grounded with healthy self-perceptions throughout life’s journey. Many students struggle with low self-worth and don't see the true value of themselves or their education. This curriculum features powerful life lessons that empower students to change their perspective and see the best in themselves and others. The Jeremy Anderson Group, LLC, is fortunate to work with a talented team of 10 content contributors with over 180 years of combined classroom experience.

Social-Emotional Learning

PBIS

Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports, PBIS, is a framework of principles that improve social, emotional, and academic outcomes for all students, including students with disabilities and students from underrepresented groups. Our Next Level Student Curriculum was developed as a solution to these numerous epidemic concerns. It also places a focus on the entire character of each student. Each of the lessons is classified into one of four Modules that target the student’s personal development, the family & academic community, and preparation for the future. Studies have resulted in a significant improvement in student discipline, behavior, and grades. The proactive strategies implemented not only promote a positive school climate but are tailored to all students. This is a great resource for PBIS implementation school or district-wide.

Additional Resources

We are committed to our holistic approach to the success of our Teachers, Students, and their Families. The Next Level Teaching book provides strategies for teachers and demonstrates how they can connect with every student, regardless of the challenges that they encounter. The Next Level Parents book is a powerful and effective tool that schools acquire in bulk and make available as a gift for their students' parents. This resource provides the essential keys to parents on how they can effectively communicate with their children and build meaningful relationships with their school. This trifecta method allows for a collaborative approach to increasing student achievement and lifelong learning.

Our Trifecta Approach to Student ACHIEVEMENT

One of our reasons for creating this curriculum was to design lessons that would reach even the most challenging students. Our curriculum helps students who are disadvantaged meet state academic and performance standards. Our goal was to create content that would help to enrich your students’ overall educational experience while helping them reach their educational goals.

At the end of the day, our focus is to support students by making sure that they are ready to learn, and that they understand that they are valued. This curriculum is the perfect tool to support student achievement regardless of their home life or socioeconomic status.

“NEXT LEVEL STUDENTS” VIDEO SERIES

The widely popular Next Level Student video series is with author & speaker Jeremy Anderson tackles questions from students all around the country, on topics like how to handle depression, how to deal with anxiety, how do you make new friends. This fun and innovative show allows students across the globe to hear from one another, and see that they’re not alone in this journey called life. There are over 50 Videos in this series.

“CASEL’S 5 Core” VIDEO SERIES

The videos in this Bonus Curriculum series aligns with cases 5 core competencies, and the teachers can show each video to match the lessons that they’re on that day. In this series, we deal with the importance of self-management, self-awareness, responsible decision making, social awareness, and relationship skills. There are 28 Videos in this Series.

“Next Level LEADERSHIP” VIDEO SERIES

In this video series, we put a strong emphasis on student leadership. We believe that every student has the capabilities to become a leader, they just need the coaching. We touch on relevant topics such as, See something, say something, Bullying, Inclusion, The Value, of Education, and Respect. There are 8 Videos in this Series.

Measured by LEXILE

The Next Level Students curriculum (Grades K-12th) has been measured using the Lexile Framework for Reading. Our company has found immense value in promoting character development resources that were measured using a framework implemented in all 50 states and 180 countries worldwide when promoting College and Career Readiness.

Our curriculum writers’ focus was to “stretch” Lexile bands, in a collaborative effort with schools nation-wide, to meet the requirements associated with college entry by the conclusion of high school. Classrooms on average, contain students located on various points within the compass of reading & comprehension abilities. The Lexile measure aligns each one with the appropriate level of complexity. Be prepared to have your students’ character and reading comprehension go to the Next Level.

Professional Development

The Jeremy Anderson Group, LLC provides professional development that helps to introduce the curriculum and increase school-wide support. (This is upon request.) All Next Level Student curriculums (K-12) have been designed to be implemented with no training needed. We believe that our user-friendly design allows the school administration and/or classroom educator the ability to modify or implement the lessons based on their academic schedules and teaching style.
