“For College and Career Readiness…”

The Next Level Students Grade 9-12 Curriculum was designed for students as they prepare for college or a career. In this series, students will have a specific focus on College and Career Readiness that is connected to the theme of the lesson so that they are always focused on their goals beyond high school.  Each lesson will connect students with their purpose as they become young adults and begin planning for their future jobs and studies.  The modules will include activities that require students to make strategic decisions about their goals.  Action steps and exploratory research on careers have been included that match their interests and characteristics.

The Grade 9 Curriculum will connect middle school learning with an increased sense of self-actualization and independence. The Grade 10 Curriculum will make more sustained connections to their college and career searches.  The Grade 11 and Grade 12 Curriculum will help students begin making plans to transition from high school to colleges and careers which would perpetuate them to be responsible citizens and leaders. 

Online Digital Options

Not only do we have physical curriculum books available for purchase! There is also a digital option and an app! With the digital platform, the stories and lessons come alive with color and excitement! In addition to the online lessons, each teacher will get personal access to our teachers portal. This will allow them to track the progress of their students, and access the lesson plan

CASEL’s 5 Core Compentencies

The Next Level Students Grades 9-12 Curriculum provides social & emotional learning (SEL) instruction centered around 28 topics, including the following, which not only develops students but also establishes preventative interventions:

Positive Thinking, Responsibility, Goal Setting, Patience, Self-Management, Appreciation, Compassion, Decision-Making, Citizenship, Relationship Skills, Generosity, Self-Confidence, Self-Awareness, and Social-Awareness
